Ketan Dongre
Chef & Founder

I Started my culinary journey in 2006 and moved to Canada in 2013.
I have worked in the tourist industry (for hotels, restaurants and
cruise ships... and all these various experiences have helped me learn various cooking techniques which I use in the food that I cook with love for my customers.
All the dishes that I cook are ones that not only are from my professional life but also from my memories of my grandmother's cooking.
091 Indian Food started with our love for mixing Canadian Local & Seasonal Ingredients with Indian regional traditional recipes
which in a way reflect our love for both the countries.
091 is the International Dialing Code for India which represents the idea of cooking regional dishes from all through out the nation and not focusing only on one part of the country, which can be nostalgic for some and novelty for others.
